US/Russia Spy Games – They are as bad as each other…

Washington to Moscow, “…Hey guys we have napped your guys – the KGB spies…I mean how could you do such a thing to us and what are you going to do about them?”

Moscow to Washington; “What a lot of fabricated imperialist rubbish! Spies, what spies?”

Washington to Moscow; “… Hey we have them right here. Do you want us to show them to you and the whole world?”

Moscow to Washington “We have already told you that we know not of any so-called spies and we do not have any such people since the end of the cold war”

Washington to Moscow, “Wait a minute, are you calling us liars?”

Moscow to Washington, “Of course not exactly but that could be a figment of your imagination and ….”

……….the line goes dead

Days and weeks later, we see these:

Russia spies plead guilty in US amid swap rumours http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/us_and_canada/10563622.stm

Spies swapped by US and Russia at Vienna airport http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/us_and_canada/10564994.stm

US considered spy swap before arrest of Russian agents http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/us_and_canada/10584374.stm

….They are as bad as each other in the spy games though they pretend otherwise to the fact that the spying trade just like prostitution and pottery is perhaps as old as mankind himself. The only change is in its shape, size and the level of sophistication. Spying did not end with the cold war, never has it ended anywhere and perhaps it can only end with mans own civilisation.
